Who We Are
The NHSScotland Quality Improvement Hub is a national
collaboration among special health boards and Scottish Government
Health Directorates which aims to support NHS boards with
implementation of the Healthcare
Quality Strategy through effective partnership working between
the collaborating organisations.
The collaborating organisations are:
- Healthcare Improvement Scotland
- NHS Education for Scotland
- Information Services Division, NHS National Services Scotland
- NHS Health Scotland
- Quality and Efficiency Support Team at The Scottish Government
This partnership approach, working together to support NHS
boards with implementation of the Quality Strategy, is an
excellent opportunity to align and integrate quality improvement
activities across NHSScotland.
The Hub will also draw on the distributed expertise of others,
such as healthcare staff trained in quality improvement within NHS
boards, to help bring quality improvement closer to staff working
in clinical settings.
We aim to expand the collaborative approach to encompass national
and international leaders in quality improvement, brokering access to, and support
from, the world's best in quality improvement.
